This month: Launch of the SmartEyeglass SDK, and Remote Device Lab
Hi,

are you up for augmented reality apps? With SmartEyeglass, and the new SmartEyeglass SDK, you'll get access to sensors and display. This means you can create new and innovative use cases in the exciting and growing wearables area. Read more about SmartEyeglass and how to start developing further down. And don't miss our new and exciting Remote Device Lab service, which lets you verify your app on real Xperia™ devices for free.
  • You could also enjoy new tutorials on Developer World Mobile shortly. Next in line is a tutorial on how to develop for SmartWatch 3. In this tutorial, you'll get an introduction to how to get started with Android Wear and SmartWatch 3 development.
  • If you are into building your own Linux kernel, you should be on the look out for a coming update to our recent tutorial on how to rebuild kernels for flagship Xperia™ devices, where we will be introducing a new open source tool. This tool is intended to simplify the process when assembling kernels for Qualcomm-based devices. Stay tuned for this update, which will be announced on Developer World Mobile.
  • Have you noticed that our flashtool for Xperia™ devices has now been updated to support new devices? You can now use the flash tool also for Xperia™ Z3, Xperia™ Z3 Compact, Xperia™ E3, and Xperia™ T3.
